Christmas In August at TOMIC

Morning everyone, I am here today with the card that I have for our August challenge at TOMIC, the theme there is Christmas in August! It is never too early to start on your Christmas creations, even if it feels a little odd making them in summer.

This is one of the cards that I made for Magnolia's Hochanda show that was in July, using Gingerbread Tilda.

I have used my Inktense Pencils to colour her to match the papers, and used loads of Doohickey Dies to add to the card. I adore the stocking, it is sooo cute!!

Thank you for popping by,

Christmas Time In July

Hi everone, Becky here with you today with a card I made for the most recent Hochanda show.

I decided to stay with the monochrome theme of the papers I chose, with the smallest pop of red.

Here is thr gorgeous Tilda, I do think that this is one of my favourites (but how can you choose??).

If you missed the show and want a peek click HERE.

Flower Shop Tilda and Tilda with Plant

Hello, I'm here with you this evening with a very simple make using two Tilda images and some frames from Ikea.

I have coloured both FLOWER SHOP TILDA and TILDA WITH PLANT  with distress reinkers.

I think the simple image fits lovely with the whitebackground and frame.

They are now on the wall in my daughters room, as soon as she saw them she asked if she could have them!

Sunbeam Tilda

Good afternoon everyone, hope you are all well. Sorry I am late to bring you my inspiration, but this month has caught me by surprise, I have just woken up from my nightshift and realised the date!

Who saw Magnolia on Hochanda? Who saw that it was me on Hochanda? If you want to take a peek at the show click HERE and you can see all of the gorgeous inspiration, and I got to see it all first hand, and believe me when I tell you that they all look so much better in the flesh, I am on this team with some very talented ladies!

Here is one of the cards that I made for the show, I demonstate how to do the out of the box die technique on the show too, please leave a comment if there is something that you would like to see me demo in future shows!!

I have used Sunbeam Tilda and the Hedgehog Kit along with some of the dies that were available from Hochanda.

Thank you for stopping by,

Clown Tilda

Good morning everyone, today it is my turn to provide inspiration at the TOMIC blog.

I have made an easel card, and used Clown Tilda coloured with distress reinkers.

The papers are both from Magnolia, and even though they are from different collections they go together beautifully, unfortunately I can't see them in the shop.

The rolled rose is from my stash, but the other flowers are all out of my Magnolia drawer, but I can only see the leaves in the shop, I do like adding a bit of foliage..

Spring at the new TOMIC Challenge Blog

Morning everyone, have you all seen that there is a new Magnolia Challenge at TOMIC, and today is our brand new challenge! The theme for our first challenge quite fittingly is SPRING and we want to see at least one doohickey die on your creation.

Please pop over to the challenge blog and see all of the gorgeous creations that my teamies have made!

What says spring better than new life, so here is a baby card I have made, for the same couple that I made another neutral one for, this time I have used the Stalk image, I adore this one for baby cards.

Baby Card With Dies

Hi, this is a card that I have made recently for a colleague who has just left to have a baby, she doesn't know what she is having though, so I thought I would do brown and cream.

The baby dies are from a previous Doohickey Magazine, the papers are all from Maja Design. The dies that can be bought are linked at the end of the post.

Thank you so much for popping by,

Hugs,
